Elementz Class outing

back from sentosa: "island life, love it". am now significantly darker. bah!


well, the outing din suck. it was okay lah. only 7 of the girls were there but we still had fun, nonetheless. we did wad we do when we get to the beach: sunbathe and swim.

then we played 'monkey' with fuyong and danis. and then we played contact rubgy on the sand, which was so much funner than the 'monkey' thing. then we ate the stuff we brought.

the guys? oh ya. well, lets see. they kicked a ball around, refusing to get into the water except for danis and fu yong. any of our attempts at conversation initiation was met with either giggles (!) or they just plain ignored us.

yes, oh well, the pack-mentality of theirs havent changed one bit. oh well. i gave up along time ago, thought they would have changed after 2 years of a change in environment, you know, breaking out of their shells of anti-social-itis but they just crawled back into their shells like the hermit crabs we saw on the beach.

moving on to a more pleasant topic, i stayed overnight with huiting, danis and weiyang. yeah, we talk for like i dunno how long until 3 am. its kinda weird, it was the first time i had an intelligent conversation with danis and weiyang after knowing them for 3/4 yrs.

talked about religion (?), race factors, the society, peer pressure and a whole lot of other things that cannot be recalled due to the influence of caffeine. oh ya. i remember that everytime a police car comes by, they would immediatly start commenting about "illegal gartering" and if there is a gathering of more than 5 or something likedat, the police have a right to question u.

and then i found out that if u hung around after 9 in your school uniform, u can get arrested. see. you learn something new everyday!

oh well. then we headed to the monorail station after the topics ran dry and set up camp. slept then when i woke up, danis was sleepless, he said its only been 45 mins. hmm. then i couldnt sleep. yeah, i was dozing off, but i'd immediatly wake up because, the lights too bright and got sleepless children with their helium-influenced voices keeping me up.

and i continually heard the stupid 7-11 bell. so i got up. and walked over to the beach, talking to myself. if anyone heard me, they'll be spooked witless but hey, when there's no entertainment, entertain yourself. i walked back and found danis sitting upright... offered him my sleeping bag but he refused. i just left it there.
then i walked out again. and walked back.

and this time, i tried to lie down and sleep. closed my eyes and when i woke up, i found danis hovering among us, lighting up the mosquito coil he bought. aww...

then i went for walkies again, and looked at the sky gradually lightening up.then i came back and huiting woke up then we went for walkies together and found the jellyfish washed up on the beach...

we kicked it around, while mourning about the fate of the jellyfish and our sadistic tendencies. then we garlanded it with 'bubble wrap' seaweed. (excuse me for not displaying the knowledge equivalent to being a marine biologist) then weiyang and danis caught up with us and we sat on the rocks looking at stuff with me jabbering on and on.

i was really spouting crap, stuff that would bored people to death but well, i cant help it. i couldnt sleep and then i was delirious. sorry guys.

i'll cut out the boring details and say that we went home. yah.

what have i learnt from this trip.
1. always, always wear sunblock lotion.
2. the beach is fun.
3. pack mentality needs to be removed.
3.5. huiting is fun! F.U.N. song!
4. weiyang is actually intelligent.
5. danis is unique, i never see this kind of person before, which is really cool.
6. talking in an aimless direction helps me to find out how the person is like, unless they are putting on a facade.
