yltc 2005.
The camp was great. Let me bring you some highlights from the camp.
Firstly, the camp was carried out just like an 'amazing race' around Singapore. We had to get to a place and then answer some questions or perform a task. Our team had to run all over the place because the places were spread far apart. There was this time when the bus did not stop at a bus stop and instead proceeded to go all over tuas before looping and coming back to our destination. The funny thing was that, another group was in the same bus as us. They managed to get off the bus earlier but ended up leaving their trainer behind in the bus with us.
Then, on the last day, we were woken up dark and early at 4am. we trekked all the way to the summit of bukit timah hill from our campsite. in the bloody dark. on the squishy fields. down the steep slopes and up the (wad else) steep slopes. then... when we were going to walk back after some morning exercises, its poured. yup. so we jogged back. i ran damn slowly... hahahah... as usual. my glasses were so fogged up, i cudnt see a damn thing.
after breakfast, we went to kallang and did dragon boating. had great fun. our boat won the two races and it was because 50% of our rowers were guys. haha.
thats about it, i guess. i just want to mention that the trainers... well, if they werent there, i cant imagine wad kind of a 'campfire' we would have.
oh well
